Huma Quşu Educational Support Fund Launches “Humay’s Karabakh Scholarship” Competition
As part of its mission to support education, the Huma Quşu Educational Support Fund has announced the “Humay’s Karabakh Scholarship” competition for the first time. The competition is intended for young people studying at Karabakh University, with the aim of supporting the development of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories and further strengthening the light of education in these lands.
As a result of the competition, five winners will each receive a scholarship of AZN 1,000.
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Azerbaijani citizens living in Azerbaijan or abroad;
- Individuals aged 16–35 at the time of application;
- Candidates with strong academic performance;
- Candidates whose family income is less than AZN 600 per person (supported by financial documentation).
Those wishing to apply can download the application forms from the official website of the Huma Quşu Fund. To save responses when completing the online application, applicants must also complete the designated application form.
In addition to answering the application questions, applicants are required to send the following documents to humagushufund@gmail.com, indicating the name of the scholarship in the subject line:
1. The most recent academic transcript;
2. Financial documents confirming the income of family members and/or an employment certificate indicating salary;
3. A certificate of family composition;
4. Funds required to cover educational expenses (to be prepared in Excel format – sample:https://shorturl.at/ctXly)
Applicants are reminded that online applications submitted without the required documents will be considered incomplete. All documents must be sent in a single email. If any document requires correction, all documents must be attached and resubmitted together in a single email; otherwise, the application will not be accepted.
Applicants must not use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Jasper AI, etc.) when answering the application questions. A bank account statement is not considered a valid financial document.
The deadline for submitting e-applications is 31 October 2026.
The selection process consists of the following stages: review of submitted documents, evaluation of applications, interviews, and announcement of the winners.
